A delightful combination of Jamaica Myers's dark rum (40%) infused black raisin enfolded in the velvety smooth Italienna meringue buttercream; sandwiched in two nutty almond shortbread.They are bold and mellow; finish with a decadent smokiness, oaky notes with element of raisin; an astonishing contrast with the creamy, slightly sweetened Italienna meringue buttercream. 

About 3.0 - 4.0 ml of Myer's rum 40% alcohol / slice

Ingredients

  • Butter Sand : Flour, cultured butter, almond flour, icing sugar, egg
  • Cream Layer: Cultured butter, sugar, egg white
  • Inner: Black raisin, Jamaica Myer's dark rum (40%) 

Best Way to Enjoy

  • Batāsando is served best at slightly chilled.
  • Upon receiving, set the Batāsando in chiller at least 30 minutes before consume.
  • Be careful of the filling that might burst out upon eating if they are not chill enough.
  • If the Batāsando has been keeping in chiller overnight, you may consume right away for ice-cream-like texture of meringue buttercream; or leave them in room temperature 10-15 minutes for half-thawed texture is also recommended.

 

Care Instructions

  • The dessert can be stored in the chiller (4° C) for up to three (3) days after the purchase date.
  • Alcohol is easy to vaporise. Eat fresh to enjoy the most flavourful batasando. 
  • To preserve its freshness, please use a plastic wrap to wrap the box or transfer it into an airtight container.

Mascarpone Chantilly Cream and buttercream are made using pasturised ingredients including fresh dairy cream, mascarpone cheese or butter. Yet, they are considered uncooked ingredients. Pregnant women and children are not encourage to consume any raw, uncooked food.
